Questions about our clinic
Is it free or covered by the RAMQ?
No. Clinique Express is a private clinic: our services are paid and are not covered by the RAMQ. This is not a CLSC. Our services are offered entirely in private practice. Some private insurance plans may cover the care (blood tests, foot care, etc.). A receipt is provided for insurance or tax purposes.
Do I need an appointment?
We strongly recommend booking, especially for home care or in-clinic services. It lets us welcome you properly and offer a service without waiting. Depending on availability, we may occasionally accept walk-ins.
Do I need a requisition for a blood test?
Yes, a requisition is required. Don’t have one? Our consultation service can provide it, subject to eligibility.
Do you treat medical emergencies?
No. We do not treat medical emergencies or infections that require a medical diagnosis. We can, however, point you in the right direction or perform certain tests.
Who provides the care?
All care is provided by qualified nurses (licensed nurses or licensed practical nurses), within their scope of practice, following a strict protocol for your safety and comfort.
Is the clinic accessible?
Our premises are not adapted for people with reduced mobility: access is by stairs only.
